For some reason, staring at lives that are perceived to be less worth & dignifying than one's own has transformed into a large scale tourist attraction. Ironically speaking, it makes one feel better about one's achievements...but maybe the aftermath should be appreciation and gratitude instead. To be humble is no longer in.
