Tamarind


I cant decide if I think it's just too weird to eat or if I could actually learn to like the taste. Funny lookin' fruit, if I may call it that :)

wow! Here in the Philippines we call it sampalok. I like it when its ripe coz some people like it when it's semi-ripe.

The one I have tasted was a "prepared" one in a box from 7/11 :)
I recall it had sugar added to it, so it must have been the semi-ripe version.
